This is the home of a Human-Robotic Interaction project, designed and built in the Fall of 2006 at Carnegie Mellon University, for a class taught by Professor Illah Nourbakhsh. We constructed a Minglebot, an embodied and semi-autonomous robot designed to increase social interaction between residents of nursing homes. For a quick summary of Minglebots, our project and its results, head to the right. To learn who we are, how we built our Minglebot, and how you can build your own, head downwards. |
