MinglebotMinglebot Whitespace We designed a robot with the very explicit mission of inducing a building full of strangers to all become friends with one another. Wait, it gets more adorable!

Our creation, the Minglebot, was a fully cyberized teddy bear capable of matching wits with its targets by playing games, questioning them about themselves, and acting as an intermediary "match-maker" between personalities.

The robotic prototype was a complete mechanical implementation, without visible outside influence, or even visible operating mechanisms. It appeared simply as a friendly little teddy bear with a hand on a mouse; no wires or servos were visible.
